Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
The general terms and conditions of sale detailed below govern the contractual relationship between the User (hereafter referred to as You) and TV City (hereafter referred to as We). Both parties accept these conditions unreservedly. We maintain that, by confirming your order, you unreservedly accept our general conditions of sale, having read them.
2. Ordering
There are 4 methods in place to put through an order:

- By post accompanied by a copy of your order and your method of payment addressed to: TV City, PO Box 56, Leyburn, DL8 4WU
3. Product information
Product specifications, images and other material published on our website have been provided by the manufacturers. Our intention is to ensure that all information is accurate and up to date as possible, however we cannot guarantee the reliability or accuracy of this information. Actions taken by the user are the responsibility of the individual.
4. Prices
The prices indicated on the Site are in Pounds Sterling and include all taxes but do not include delivery. The chosen possible delivery costs are indicated for the User at the checkout and also detailed below in the delivery section. We reserve the right to modify our prices at any moment but will apply the current rates as indicated to you on the site at the time the order was placed.
5. Availability
Please note that we will honour your order while stock is available.
In the event where one of the products ordered is not in stock, we will contact you in less than 15 days as of your order date to inform you how long it will be before we are able to deliver the product.
If there are certain products that are temporarily unavailable, we will send the available products and will pay the shipping fees for the rest of the order. In the event that we are unable to either get the product back in stock or you are reluctant to wait for this you will be issued with a full refund.
6. Delivery methods
The products bought on the Site will be delivered to mainland UK. In the event where you want your goods delivered anywhere else please contact us prior to ordering.
Orders are dispatched with our courier company and you may choose to have your order delivered on a standard weekday (£12.99) or opt for a Saturday delivery (£22.99).
7. Right of Retraction
TV City allows you 15 working days to return a product that you are not satisfied with. You can return the product within this time period, at your own expense, accompanied by your invoice and a completed and signed return goods voucher. We request that you send us the merchandise by registered post and that you purchase insurance with the carrier for the value of the merchandise. This is notably necessary should they lose or damage the goods. Shipping fees remain the customer’s responsibility.
The present right of return only applies to products that are returned in their original, complete working condition (packaging, accessories, user guide etc.). Any product that has been damaged, or is not in its original packaging, or has packaging that has been worn beyond simply opening the product, will not be refunded. All photos stored on a digital support (memory card, hard drive etc.) and sent back to TV City by the User will not be kept. The deadlines mentioned above are effective as of the date of reception of the order.
Reimbursements:
If the product is returned within 15 days of its delivery (the courier tracking being proof thereof), the User will be reimbursed by bank transfer if payment was made by bank card, or by cheque in other cases.
If tests need to be carried out on the product, in the framework of the right of retraction, TV City will do its best to reimburse the User as quickly as possible. This time period will depend on the nature of the technical tests performed.
Cancellations:
You can cancel your purchase at any time up to 7 working days following the day you receive the goods. In this case please call us on 02921 25 00 11 (open Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm) with your order number (example CCL065214521) or send an e-mail to info@TVCity.co.uk. We will then arrange to collect the goods from you.
Your product must be complete and in ‘as new’ condition (i.e. if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product or packaging). It must not have been used or installed. It should be returned with the original box, packing and accessories you received with it. By following the steps above you will receive a full refund for the price of the product but not any delivery charges paid.
8. Guarantees and After-Sales Service
All televisions purchased from TV City come with a 12 month warranty. As our service company we have selected Contrast Technology Ltd, one of the UK's leading providers of technical service and after sales care for the consumer electronics industry.
If you experience any problems with your item please contact Contrast on 0871 2887 345. TV City will not be able to help you with any technical issues.
Over 90% of consumer issues relating to new electronic products can be simply resolved over the phone. For this reason Contrast Technology operate a helpline geared to telephone support. Through their dedicated in-house call centre they aim to quickly and efficiently overcome any setup challenges you may have. However, if the problem cannot be fixed over the phone their high speed swap facility will ensure you quickly have a replacement product delivered directly to your door.
If you require further peace of mind you can purchase an extended warranty. When you register your new television you will have the option to purchase the extended warranty.

9. Protection of personal data
Since the details you give us are essential for the processing and delivery of orders, for billing and for the establishment of warranty contracts, failure to provide these details will result in the cancellation of your order. By registering on the Site, you agree to provide us with sincere and true information as it concerns you.
Communicating false information is contrary to the present General Conditions.
The information you supply will be used solely by TV City. We will not pass on information to third parties in any circumstances.
10. Intellectual ownership
All the content on the TV City site (illustrations, texts, names, brand names, images and videos) is the property of TV City. Any partial or total reproduction of this content, by any means and on any support, is subject to prior and express authorisation by TV City.
TV City cannot give you the right to copy, display or distribute content that you do not have the intellectual rights to. All fraudulent use of this content that violates the rights held by a third party constitutes an offence of forgery, which is severely punished under the Intellectual Property Code. TV City will not, under any circumstances, be held responsible if a user violates rights held by a third party through his activities on the site.
